Alarm warning feature added to slat cleaners
An intelligent monitoring system makes the TruTool TSC 100 slat cleaner from TRUMPF even more attractive. TRUMPF engineers integrated an LED display into the power tool that removes slag on the flatbed machine. It informs users at just a glance when the seal has become damaged. This means the seal can be replaced in time to prevent any damage occurring to the TruTool TSC 100.
Since January 2016, the slat cleaner TruTool TSC 100 is now equipped with the new seal along with an alarm function. Furthermore, it can also be ordered as a wear part and is compatible with all TruTool TSC 100 machines. Technical background: The plastic seal has an anti-wear coating made of aramid fiber layers. As the slag cleaner operates, the integrated electronics continuously monitor the condition of the seal. If it becomes damaged and can no longer do its job well, the LED display issues automatically a visual signal.
Users no long have to manually check the seal at regular intervals. This saves time and prevents damage to the tool that can develop if inspecting and replacing this seal are not done at the specified maintenance interval.
Once the user has replaced the part, the TruTool TSC 100 is once again ready to use and can thoroughly clean the slag that has developed on the slats of flatbed machines. Even stubborn steel slag deposits are not a problem for the cleaning tool, which is operated by one person. It takes about 30 minutes to clean a standard pallet 1,500 millimeters wide and 3,000 millimeters long.
